Emily earned her Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee and has extensive experience in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment centers over the last 10 years. Her career spans a variety of settings, from working with individuals of all ages in family and individual therapy to specialized care for eating disorders, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
Her passion lies in supporting clients grappling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, life transitions, anxiety, codependency, and trauma. Emily has a holistic approach to therapy, aiming to empower clients by equipping them with the tools to navigate emotional challenges and build resilience. She fosters a sense of acceptance and flexibility in thinking patterns, emphasizing a relational and compassionate therapeutic style.
In her practice, Emily prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She welcomes individuals from all cultural backgrounds and is committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care. Outside of her profession, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her dog, immersing herself in nature, attending live music events, and exploring Nashville's vibrant food and coffee scene.
